I have had some people ask me questions regarding what Reiki is & at times I have had issues with explaining it, mainly because most that ask are skeptics to begin with & make me uncomfortable which leads me to get all jumbled in words lol. Well, on a personal level (and in layman’s terms) it is amazingly wonderful, it releases all the nasty shit we hold onto in our body, there is so many things that get us down in our everyday life such as death, work, relationships with our significant other, children, co-workers, and energy from being around other people, the news, social media etc…. Unfortunately we let the stress of the above mentioned eat at us and it puts us “out of whack” and off balance leaving us ungrounded. A reiki session helps to open up your chakras, send love & healing light to the areas of your body where it is needed most. A Reiki Practitioner has been attuned to strengthen the immune system on a client in order to start their self healing process inside their body. This process repairs your body tissues, remove toxins and impurities, and restores balance and health by cleansing the body.
SOMETHING TO PONDER……
Do you ever get a cut or stub your toe and instantly touch that spot? We are all automatically programmed to heal ourselves or make someone feel better by doing this loving technique.
AFTER A REIKI SESSION……
Every person responds differently, some people experience strangeness after Reiki session which is characterized as a feeling of strong emotions and a person may also experience temporary rise in symptoms, and results in different “after effects” which we call in the lightworker world “purging” or “detoxification” this does not happen to everyone and it may not happen at all, some things one may experience after opening your chakras/reiki session may be (but not limited to) …….
~ very tired & sleep really well that night after your session;
~ farting (during or after);
~ peeing or #2 often;
~ very energetic;
~ happy & joyful full of energy;
~ cold symptoms;
~ mood swings;
~ strong emotions;
~ nausea & diarrhea
~ lack of sleep
~crying (during or after)
~ a lot of different things (feel free to add to the list)
Please do not let the list scare you off from Reiki, because IF any of those above possible effects happen, think of how amazing you will feel when they pass, I am here to tell you, there is nothing like it AND my hubby who is a huge skeptic on a lot of things actually asks me for it, he knows now that it works & that he feels really good the next day. That was huge for me, of course he has been my biggest supporter on all my work but I always knew he was leary, not anymore!!! When my daughter was pregnant I used reiki on her and my unborn granddaughter quite often, I used it in the delivery room to help with relaxation, I have used on my dog also and when they walk away, that means they have had enough, pets love reiki! I have used reiki on my food, plants, water, both my husband & my motorcycle before riding, the plane I was flying on before take off. The list is endless on what reiki can help with……
I have recently gone through some personal emotions and I KNOW I need reiki to get back on track. Until I can get a session in I work with my grounding stones & I try to focus on “here & now” short meditation. Anyone that has had a reiki session knows if & when they need are in need. Sometimes self-reiki just isn’t enough & that is ok.
I have had to put that part of my business on the back burner as I am blessed with watching my beautiful granddaughter daily & cannot fit clients in, I am a firm believer things happen for a reason & this daily task is my healing, with love & happiness. 🙂
Please feel free to share your Reiki experience, as always, I love to hear from you all!!!
Exactly.you said it perfectly “I have had some people ask me questions regarding what Reiki is & at times I have had issues with explaining it, mainly because most that ask are skeptics to begin with & make me uncomfortable which leads me to get all jumbled in words lol”.
I am a Reiki Master living in an area with lots of yoga, meditation, acupuncture, craniosacral, reiki and massage work. However, it’s the skeptics as you mentioned who often already have a set opinion and seem to want to challenge you.
Love your site, I saw your business on a list of attendees for the Oct gem show in Springfield Ma which I’ll be attending. Lol wished we lived closer as I see thru reading some of your post we have some similarities such as crystals, Harleys and a grandchild.
Well thank you very much! I love feedback (especially when its good lol) Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend the October Gem Show cuz it is the above-mentioned-granddaughter’s 1st birthday party & that is a must to be at (as I’m sure you agree). I love what I do and I have learned (and still talk to myself about it at times) that people are going to have their opinions, not everyone is going to be on our journey nor are they going to “get it” and that is ok. The journey has changed by life in so many wonderful ways & I think that is what makes it harder for me when there are such skeptics …… feel free to like me on FB would love to see your bike etc…. thanks again for the comment my friend 🙂 Namaste
Yes…grand-baby must come first. My plans have changed as well.
I have been doing a FB detox and taking a break from my personal page, but will send you a friend request. In the meantime I am sending you an email here at your site.
